SM City North EDSA


SM City North EDSA is the first SM Supermall operated by SM Prime Holdings, which is the largest retail and mall operator in the Philippines. With a gross floor area of 425,000 square meters, SM City North Edsa is the Philippines‘ largest mall and the third largest in the world.

The mall attracts a daily foot traffic of over 500,000 people during weekends and more than 300,000 visitors on weekdays.

Construction of SM City North EDSA started in 1983 and opened in 1985. Since then, the shopping mall has undergone several expansions and renovations. It has 4 primary buildings (the City Center, The Block, The Annex and Carpark Multilevel Bldg) and The Sky Garden covering the whole complex.




SM Mall of Asia

Almost four hectares of floor area. 8,000 parking slots. 5,000 square meters allotted for public utility vehicles. 100 slots for tourist buses. Almost one kilometer in length, and a perimeter of almost 2 kilometers. Close to 2 million bags of cement used to build it and 44,000 gallons of paint consumed. It also has 1.9 million floor tiles installed in it. One wonders if this scale of development was for an airport terminal, a seaport, or an industrial complex.

SM Megamall

The mall has two buildings interconnected with a bridge. The mall occupies a land area of approximately 18 hectares and has a total floor area of an estimated 348,000 m², making it the third largest shopping mall in the country and seventh largest shopping mall in the world by area.[2]

The mall attracts a daily foot traffic of 800,000 people, adding up to 292,000,000 people a year.The mall has a maximum capacity of 4 million people.
