Rivermaya just released their newest CD, Closest Thing To Heaven. Not too long after that, Liza Guerrero Nakpil files a complaint that she owns the name Rivermaya and that the band cannot use that name anymore because Nakpil is not anymore affiliated with the band... Nakpil won.
My biggest question is that since naming the Rivermaya band as Rivermaya is now illegal, will they pull out Closest Thing To Heaven from record bars because of the use of the name Rivermaya???? hhhmmmm...
